The Department of Labor of Albany will host a statewide job fair on WALB-TV on June 28th from until , Wednesday.
It would be a hassle-free job hunt, jobseekers won’t have to leave home in finding a good job.
The Job Fair 2006 will offer hundreds of job opportunities across Georgia. The said event will focus on giving jobs with workers who've been laid-off in plant closures and for military veterans who've just come home from overseas.
Some of the job openings are located in southwest Georgia.
Viewers who call in to inquire will be answered by career expert including Labor Commissioner Michael Thurmond.
“They have experts who are bilingual. If you have a need for help with a disability, if you need help with something like making a resume, putting together a wardrobe or interviewing, they can help,” said WALB-TV General Manager Jim Wilcox.
